Yer Bird Records Collaborating with Music 4 hunger

Yer Bird Records is an independent record label dedicated to the art of great folk and folk-inspired music.  The label changed hands in early 2010 from its origins in Virginia / Pennsylvania to its new home in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

“Our goal has always been the same and that is to give great folk music a home and to celebrate the singer-songwriter. The inspiration for the compilation was to acknowledge the labels beginnings as well as the labels new chapter – What Lies Ahead.”

Music 4 Hunger Charity Music CD Project in 2010

Music 4 Hunger is planning to release a charity music CD in 2010.  Negotiations with artists and sponsors are under way for the Music 4 Hunger Foundation first charity music CD is under work to be released in 2010, in addition to plans to release a Christmas CD.

Music 4 Hunger Foundation will use the income generated by the charity music CD sales to benefit hungry children, poor children, homeless children and underprivileged children. Our mission is to save as many children as possible of the 18,000 children dying every day from hunger alone.
