The future of humankind IS our children.  Helping children in need is truly investing into our future.  Children’s charities play a key role in this vital investment.  How we provide for and care for the children of this world is the most important commission we have as stewards of this planet.  An estimated 153 million children under the age of 5 are malnourished and every five seconds a child dies from malnutrition and hunger.  This plight is a global moral disgrace and too big for any one children’s charity to overcome. However, by uniting and joining forces, children’s charities can have a larger and stronger impact.

The largest visible hope for children who are facing starvation is with children’s charities and the resulting programs being formed to solve these problems.  It is true that 54 nations do not produce enough food to feed their population, but this is not simply a third world problem.  It is estimated that 13 million children in the United States go to bed hungry every night.  Music 4 Hunger Children’s Foundation believes that it is possible to bring an end to this global problem.  By looking beyond ourselves and our own needs, we can bring positive change, save innocent lives and create a better tomorrow for our future generations.

With a focus on long-term solutions, children’s foundations and children’s charities can and are making a huge difference.  Feeding the body is the first step to saving lives, but finding solutions to remedy the circumstances that are causing hunger and starvation is the bigger goal.  The situation is desperate, but with the collective dedication of caring individuals, Music 4 Hunger Children’s Foundation as well as other children’s foundations are aiming to make even more significant impact on a global scale.
